Summer Arts and Science in French

July 5 - 23, 2010
for children 3-5 and 6-8

Our fourth Summer Day Camp offers a creative, nurturing and relaxed experience for children ages three through eight.
Campers learn from caring and supportive early childhood educators who possess strong backgrounds in the arts.

The Language and Laughter Studio is pleased to announce a Theater Training Workshop in French for :
*Children (1st and 2nd graders),
*Pre-teens (8-12 year olds)
*Adults.

All of our teachers at LLS are professionals who have produced and directed plays for the last decade and are enthusiastically looking forward to taking the actors to a different level of theater.

The mission of LLS' theater program is twofold. To enable its participants to find their inner creative self and to learn French in a powerful, extraordinary, and near effortless way through acting and self-realization, allowing for the discovery of linguistic nuances and native-speaker competency.

When:
*1st and 2nd graders - Saturday at 2:30PM-3:30PM
*8-12 year olds - Sunday 4:30PM-6:00PM
*Adults - Wednesday 8:00PM-10:00PM

We look forward to helping you and your children to expand a linguistic, creative, and playful repertoire.
Babies/Children and their Caregivers:
  • Morning programs for children ages 8 months to 2.5 year olds and 2.5 to 4 year olds.

    Drop off Programs:
  • After school for children 3-5 and 6-7 year olds
  • Reading and writing classes in French for 6-8 and 9-12 year olds
  • Fine Art class in French for all ages
  • Theater classes in French for 7-8 year olds and 9-12 year olds.
  • Cours d’Histoire en Français for 7-9 year olds.
  • Drawing class in French for Adults

    French Pre school program-La Mini-Maternelle, sur le chemin de l’école for 2.5 to 4.5 year olds:

    Our High quality, and fun interactive classes invite children and their families to discover foreign cultures and languages through all modes of expression including words, movement, drawing, building, sculpture, shadow play, collage, dramatic play, music and interactive games, thus making language and learning a pleasant and rewarding experience.

    You’ll find France near the F train and Spain off the Main. Join us at the Language and Laughter Studio where a world of fun awaits you right in your own backyard.
